    Job Description

    Medical Lab Technician - Hospital Facility

    $17-18.50/hr 

    Schedule could be 3 x 12 hour shifts or 4 x 10 hour shifts.  

    Main duties:

    Performs hematology, chemistry, coagulation, urinalysis, immunology, and immunohematology testing in a prompt and reliable manner according to established clinic and departmental policies.  Sets up new methodologies, develops procedural protocols, and trains lab personnel in the use of instrumentation.  Participates in QA reviews, proficiency testing, and supports the laboratory in meeting CLIA accreditation standards.

    Job Requirements

    EDUCATIONAL/SKILLS REQUIRED:

    Must have either an Associate of Science with a major in Medical Laboratory Technology, Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology, or Clinical Laboratory Science Educational requirements to meet MLT, MLS, or CLS.
